Recent RMA Investigations

Chronic Lymphoid Leukaemia

Following the investigation relating to “dioxin exposure” and “dioxin contaminated herbicide exposure” the Repatriation Medical Authority (RMA) has declared that it does not propose to amend the Statement of Principles (SoPs) concerning Chronic Lymphoid Leukaemia Nos. 9 & 10 of 2005.
The RMA considered that the new sound medical scientific evidence available was not sufficient to justify an amendment to the SoPs already determined in respect of Chronic Lymphoid Leukaemia.

All submissions must be received by the RMA at the address below no later than 21 July 2008.  For persons and organisations wishing to make a submission, a copy of the notice and submission guidelines are available at www.rma.gov.au.
